多麼惹人憐愛的小東西，The Weepies，淚眼汪汪的看著我，so mellow ，so sad，so beautiful。
The Weepies是由Deb Talan和Steve Tannen兩位Singer-Songwriter所組成的團體，二位主唱的聲音一聽便難以忘懷，無論是女聲略帶鼻音的腔調伴佐吉他男聲，還是男子軟軟的吟唱中夾著女子輕柔的合音，都給人一拍即合的魅力。
這二人如此奇妙的默契，現在不只呈現在他們的音樂創作上，2007年他們結了婚，並且在10月的時候有了愛情的結晶，名正言順的成了甜蜜民謠夫婦二人檔，真是羨煞旁人。
The Weepies於06年初發行了這張《Say I Am You》，甫開張便衝向iTunes在八個國家的民謠類下載冠軍，其中Gotta have you便是極為惹人憐愛的小品，Talan那略帶鼻音的唱腔，好像哭泣過後的小女人耍脾氣般哀傷，讓人難以抵抗的喜愛及揪心，World Spins Madly On則以Steve平靜的聲音和流暢的吉他旋律唱出愛情消逝的無能為力，接下來的Painting By Chagall（夏卡爾的畫）有濃濃花草香，朗朗上口彷彿如夏卡爾中的愛侶飄上了藍色的天空。除了清新動人的曲調，The Weepies最感人的還是他平實簡單的歌詞，以及在流行與獨立間取得平衡的創作能力，《Say I Am You》這張專輯告訴耳朵越來越挑剔的聽眾，好聽不需要太多理由，亦無需孤芳自賞的賣弄，真摯的情感永遠是最能打動人心的元素。
