i dreamt that

been waiting

that i was
quite surprised

we stared
at each other
remain silent
and I
tried to give you
a kiss in return

but then
you wake me up
and say it was time
for you to leave

so I
kissed you goodbye
and tried to get back
to that dream
before it's gone
