大抵上今年好萊塢的動畫改編熱潮中，Hellboy 2 不算是特別突出的片子，在TDK與Iron man的夾殺下自然是失色了許多，不過沒給他特別期望的我，卻沒想到Hellboy 2 為我帶來了不同於前二部的滿足與驚喜。

Hellboy的漫畫作品在Mike Mignola魅力十足的畫面下自然成為漫畫迷眼中美而精的黑馬，以非人英雄的身份在眾多帥哥美女中打出一片天地，同樣生為視覺生物的我，也不免俗的喜愛上這位具有紅色的皮膚、以及長長的尾巴的偽男孩，以及他BPRD(Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense，超自然研究防衛局)的伙伴們。



除了有濃濃哥德黑暗風的怪物圖鑑可以看外，其實Hellboy最吸引我的地方，在於他如何與自己與生俱來的惡魔血統對抗，去誓言保護一個他原本該毀滅的種族，一個永遠不會接納他的種族，雖然地獄常常試著讓他了解自己的身分，但Hellboy義無反顧的再三折斷頭上尊貴的角，放逐自己於同類的大門之外。

所以當Liz親吻身受重傷的Hellboy告訴他是：「這世上，她所知道最好的人。」

我不禁也想告訴這位會看夜間新聞找自己有沒有上電視，和在ebay查自己簽名賣多少錢的惡魔王子同樣的話。

這真的不是一部多高超的電影，除了美術和武打並無出彩之處，而我對他的喜愛有大部份來自於漫畫的移情作用，只是我沒想到，這感情如此柔軟，化身成一首歌而來。



電影中那個叫做 Red 的粗魯惡魔，和那個有著海水般顏色的魚人Blue，一紅一藍在偌大的圖書館裡面，一面喝著啤酒，一面跟著旋律哼唱，從小小聲，唱成越來越大聲，以至回音繞樑，“You know I can't smile without you…I can't smile without you…”



Abe，善良又笨拙的Abe（雖然電影把他拍的過份天真了～笑～），看著Abe從聽自己最愛的古典音樂，變成偷偷在聽【流行情歌精選】，Hellboy武功再怎麼高強，還是猜不透女人心裡在想什麼，頓時讓我在螢幕前與這二位另類的superheros產生了連繫，這時他們不再是難容於世的奇異生物，而我也不是螢幕前孤單的我．．．我想我感謝導演在這部份上小小的改編，i need that．．．

至於今集的反派Prince Nuada，也有讓人同情的地方，恐怕電影中最不受歡迎的角色就是人類本身吧～當他化成陶俑前悠悠對Hellboy說出：「We die and the world will be poorer for it.」，一如雨中的淚水消失而去。

最終人類還是獲得了他的勝利，But, for what?

於是在這首 I can't smile without you的環繞下，更放大了寂寞的聲響。
